deugro (PNG) Limited is pleased to announce the arrival of deugro’s own heavy haulage equipment in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. The equipment comprises of 48 Goldhofer axle lines and 3 prime movers. The majority of equipment is committed to one of deugro’s current projects in association with the PNG LNG development. The equipment will be permanently based in PNG and some of the equipment is available for existing and upcoming project work. deugro will provide full fleet management including operating the equipment. Pivotal to the operation is deugro’s in-house engineering capability and expertise to plan and execute projects in such a difficult working environment.

This is the first time that the organizer has moved the Asia Breakbulk conference to China, and the response was overwhelming. A record crowd of more than 4,000 attendees and 100 exhibitors filled the INTEX Shanghai Exposition Center and Sheraton Hongqiao for the inaugural Breakbulk China Transportation Conference and Exhibition, Feb. 28-Mar. 1, 2012. Conference topics ranged from China’s breakbulk and project cargo market to transportation on the Yangtze River, trade and transportation in Mongolia and westwards through China to Kazakhstan.

In addition to our China team, deugro participants comprised of teams from Australia / Brazil / Indonesia / Japan / Korea / Pakistan / Qatar / Singapore / Thailand / UK and USA.  Our clients and business associates were very impressed with the presence of deugro managers from all over the world, whilst we were proud to note the large number of visitors to our booth every day.

The next Asia Breakbulk Conference is going to be held at Shanghai INTEX Exposition Center on March 12-15, 2013.
